Hey Terry,

Hey Terry,

My brother had a Stage 1 on his 2017 GLC 43. He recently took it to the dealer regarding a buzzing sound from the engine bay. They replaced the boost pressure control (pressure transducer). When we tried reinstalling the Stage 1 we are getting a CEL. Is this the same as the SENT pressure sensor?

They won't change the sensor type.. Maybe an issue with the Stage1 board itself? Good time to upgrade it to a JB4.

Uploading Map 2 tonight. very excited to see what becomes of it.

What values should I be looking for? Excuse my ignorance. I am coming from the world of subarus and there I was looking for knocking and boost creep.

Thanks in advance Terry.

Hey Terry,

Heres a pull on map 1, I was wondering should I go straight to map 2 from here or mix in some e85 first?

Thanks,

Hey Terry, Ive been noticing quit a bit of power inconsistencies. I Feel like my car had better race times without the JB4 because of the throttle/shifting issues.
1. Car cuts off the throttle as shown in one of the logs.
2. Also the Car pulls hard while approaching redline then shifts and right after the shift the car loses much of its power then starts taking off again. Its almost like a lag, Its a rough upshift (WOT) then right after hesitates a bit then takes off again. If you look at the RPM line in the logs, instead of the RPM climbing again it goes flat for a moment then starts to rise again almost like a U shape instead of a V. I do not notice this when I put the car back to stock Map 0.

Can you tell me what could possibly cause this and some potential fixes? I read up on the BMW forums and many other JB4 or JB+ users experienced this. Some found a fix using the newer firmware and some did not. Ive posted a few logs here. let me know what you think.
