Default JB4 Map 2 and Fuel Wires - 03-06-2019, 04:05 PM

I am looking for some feedback from Stinger 3.3 or G70 3.3 owners that have the JB4 on Map 2 (93 oct) and the Fuel Wires. Nothing else.

That will be my setup in a few days...and was wondering what the HP and Torque numbers end up at. Any performance numbers? 0-60 and/or 1/4 mile.

Stock HP is 365 and Torque is 376...so wondering what the increases are for both. All the graphs, etc are all over the place...LOL.

Thanks in advance for any info !!

Hi Beefer, I'll have lots of that in a few days.
BTW if you have not used (Android App) "Torque Pro (OBD 2 & Car)" it has all the tools to use your cars weight (go to a weight station and get it) and using the accelerometers built into the phone your can get REAL wheel HP maps and stats. Best $5 bucks I ever spent !!!! (Augments the JB4 App with a 2nd phone.)

Quick question.

Are Fuel Wires required for any Maps? Or are they optional across the board...giving ~30 whp in the higher RPM range?

Thank you.

Normally you won't be able to run above map2 without them, AFR will go too rich and you'll get misfires.

That's good to know.

I just added mine in last night. Still running 93 octane on Map 2. Comparing map2 logs before and after the fuel wires I do see the AFR line being adjusted (albeit small adjustments) on the graph. Before the fuel wires, AFR would literally be a straight line with no deviation during pulls.

I wonder if I could run Map 3 on just 93 octane and not E30. Air temps have dropped considerably into the 40s'-50's. Other mods are BMS intakes and Denso plugs.

Easy to log and evaluate the timing advance to check for knock.
