Default Un-link phone from JB4 App - 02-06-2019, 05:00 AM

Hi,

I have recently sold my JB4 and have removed from my car but then realised I needed to 'un-link' my phone from the app.

I don't really have the option to re-connect the complete JB4 back on the car but also need to un-link so the new owner can use it.

Does anyone know how or who I need to contact in order to un-link my phone WITHOUT plugging it all back into the car.

Thanks in advance

Jamie

Unfortunately its the hard plug that needs to go back on. Plug D at the bottom is what powers the JB4 so only that one is needed.

Thanks for the reply George.

Why did it have to be the bottom plug! That's the hardest one to get to and the clip is a nightmare on mine.

Is this the only way to un-link my phone is too power up the JB4 and un-link through the app?

Can the new owner do it? I need to ship it today and cannot get it connected to the car.

You can ship as is. The new owner will get a error when he connects with a email address on it that can unlink it for him.

Question, can you link more than one phone to the JB4? I got the mobile connect to use the valet map. Just wondering if I purchase the app on my wife's phone if I can link hers and mine to the JB4, or if it's just one mobile device.

In theory if you use the same user name and password on view account settings it should allow you to log in. For confirmation though best to email support@jb4connectkit.com or post in the BMW N54 section where there is a JB4 Mobile sticky.
