Default MMP 1K - 08-01-2018, 09:44 PM

Hi

Recently got a set of MMP 1Ks installed with following mods:

- JB4 G5
- MMP 1K Hybrid turbos w/ RB oil drains
- VRSF race 7.5Ē intercooler
- Boost concepts stage 2 LPFP
- 4bar tmap sensor
- Sharp customs, sheet metal intake w/ 750cc injectors and bms controller - installed but not enabled/configured.
- MMP 2Ē Inlets w/ bms filters
- MMP 2" outlets
- Bimmerlife Ignition setup w/ 95770 gapped to 0.025"
- RB external PCV w/ head plugs + low side mishimoto occ
- CPE charge pipe w/ tial bov (11psi)
- MS 3" ***

Currently running a Wedge MHD BEF and have been logging map 6 (16psi to 3k - 18psi 3.5k to redline) with FF disabled using "default" DB settings i.e. 50 to 3.5k and increasing from 4k to redline.

See attached log - would be grateful for feedback!

Since you have larger turbos be sure to follow the basic setup directions. FUD.6 to disable RPM FF gain and the default duty bias settings for hybrids, for example.

I was only looking for some pointers for my own benefit - but understand your stance.

You need to decide on the boost level that best works with the fuel being used. So if you're already paying Ken to do that analysis for you then keep working with him on it!
