Default First log - E85 BEF/Map5 - 07-31-2018, 12:53 PM

First log check with the E85 BEF / JB4 Map5. Running around e35-e40.

Thanks! (2nd image has some IGN activity I've seen recently, know what causes that?)

Boost could use a bit of refinement

And some timing issues on a few cylinders

Overall not awful for a first log.

Higher AveIgn is a built in safety feature- higher Ave Ign = lower boost target

Ya, the avg.ign was reset for this new BEF. Went from 4.7 --> 3.1 during the run.

In the second image, are those the timing issues you're talking about? In the middle of the log? Know what causes that strange behavior (higher/lower mirror?)

EDIT: 2nd test WOT redline. Same IGN activity of the higher/lower readings in the middle of the log. Are there any specific default JB4 settings to change for the BEF usage? FOL, FF, DWP

Raise duty bias to 65 from 4.5k rpm and up and get another log that should have you closer to target.

Duty biased adjusted. DSC completely off, Think I had the AC on. Feel strong, little hesitation.

Looks pretty clean!

Wgdc is maxed, so not much more DB tuning will do.

Glad the car feels strong, if you want to hold boost better to redline- time for a Pure turbo upgrade

Last question.

Do you recommend setting FOL, DWP, Menu 10,11,12 to any specific values for the BEF?

EDIT: Know what causes this IGN activity?
