Default Denso IHK27 2 step colder gap - 02-21-2020, 07:20 PM

Hey, plugs are a pain to keep changing so I just want to be clear. I ordered the Denso 5346 IKH24 one step kit but you guys were out so I was sent the IHK27 two step plugs. First, will they be more susceptible to fowling if Im just running map 2, donít get high heat, and donít run hard all the time - i.e. too cold? And second, should I gap them to .022 like the IKH24 or .020 like the website states? Thanks!

They can be used interchangeably, and can gap them to 0.022". The 0.020" is for the really high HP guys pushing the limits.

3.3L plugs. Although I suggest a 0.022" gap for the 2L plugs too.

If it's pulling smooth and not misfiring no reason to touch anything.
