Default Mild Turbo Surge under medium to heavy throttle - 05-23-2019, 07:48 AM

I have a JB4, Ark midpipes back exhaust, stillen intakes and colder plugs. Under medium to full throttle it feels as if the boost surges slightly. I have a friend with a similar setup experiencing the same thing. It only does it on map2 and higher. Map0 runs perfect. Any ideas?

Surges higher or dips lower and you feel loss of power?
What Octane?

Can you try and get a log so we can see what's happening?

I had the same issue on Map2 with 91 Octane. Logging showed a dip in Throttle even though Pedal was floored.
The workaround for it is Map6 with reduced boost on what rpm it dips at.
So in my case it either occurs at around 4,800rpm or 5,300rpm and higher. So I reduced the boost from 4,500rpm onwards to various ranges from +3psi to +3.8psi until it almost went away.
There may be other tweaks with fuel bias but I was between 11.5-12.2 in those ranges anyway!
