I am interested as well, unless Pure would like me to be the first to give a review?

Hello, sorry but I use a translator, I am from Argentina, recently on my E90 fbo 95 octanes + meth install my ps2Hf and it really is another very strong and powerful car, currently 24 psi, I still did not go to the test bench but do not hesitate to buy them. The attention of the people of Pure is excellent!

So the new 600ís are basically like the ps2ís right? But probably the DD? Iíve also seen theyíre rated 600-700 hp. 🤔 thatís actually pretty good considering the price.

The ps2 is 450 to 600 and the ps2HF 600 to 700, for the little price difference would go for the HF, the total power in hp will also depend on the fuel you use, I do not have E85 at my reach and I do not think reach much more than 600 hp.

Yes, we have both similar hardware and preparation, you with E85 and ps2HF will surely exceed 600 whp.

I donít have the ps2 high flows, Iím gonna get the new pure 600ís with the 2Ē inlets. N54 tuning is saying the turbos are rated at 600-700hp not sure how true that is but I figure 550whp is good for a dd

No one has any new info on these? Pretty close to pulling the trigger on a set.. I might just have to do a review myself at this point once they are installed.

You were running at ~24 lbs boost. I think the cast pure 600s could run at the same boost. I heard online not to run it more than 26 lbs. When I spoke with a rep at Pure Turbos he told the cast are like the DD ones but literally just cast. Can the HF turbos go up any higher on boost? Seems like you're running on a conservative boost level? Trying to learn from you guys on this lol

Also when you installed these was it on a 135i? I know for the e82 series I have to use two hoses from the 335i lhd but am not sure which one so if you have any info on those hoses it'd be awesome!

I do not have that information but people of pure will know how to tell you, my car is a 335i e90, it can be up to 32 psi but I can not more than 26/27 by the octane

I hear this from quite a few people. Choice of turbos should be based on actual goals, fuel available to accomplish those goals, hardware, upgrades, axles, trans, etc. Bigger isnt always better. If someone has a goal of 550, the extra headroom of purchasing 700whp capable turbos is over kill and the headroom left on 600s is plenty. What if you are auto trans ? 700 whp and destroy the trans before you even get to enjoy the full power is POINTLESS. Generally speaking, the more power a turbo can make, the more lag that is also introduced. Look around and check 1/4 mile times from stock to 700whp hybrids. Trap definitely increases, but E.T. in many cases (not all), barely changes. So once again, depends on goals. 1/4mile ? Driveability ? Trap speed ? Roll race ? 1/2 mile runs ? Dig runs ? Go buy 700whp twins and run a car with RBs at 525whp from ligh to light on the street and see what happens. By the time the 700s kick in, the race is already over. Longer freeway run and the opposite will happen. Goals......not bigger is better IMO.

I thought about this too. Everyone is telling me to go single turbo but I want a well rounded car and went with bigger twin turbos(Pure600) for the least amount of lag and good power. Should be a fun easy to drive car. The thing I liked most about stock turbos was when I hit the gas boost was instant. To me nothing beats that.

Exactly right......Not everyone wants or needs 750whp plus. A LOT of guys who run time attack are actually around 500whp or so (335i) Take streets of willow track for example. A single turbo 750whp car will fall WAY behind a track tuned 500whp car. These things have to be taken into consideration. The goals and intentions that people have for their cars, not just bigger is better !

I recently installed pure stg 2 high flows on my 135i. When dialing in the tuning they were over shooting to 30psi so you will not have an issue building boost with these. Have only done about 4 hours of track time but they seem to be going strong so far. I am having issues keeping my charge pipe on at 25 psi when stuff starts to get hot. Trying to come up with a better than one connections right now. Anything me have any thoughts?

Have you tried a new clip ? Or maybe just a charge pipe issue ?

I fixed it with some metal plates, m6x120mm all thread, and some lock nuts.

So no one has any new info on the Pure600s? They just arrived at home so when I get off work I'll be unboxing them.

Intense.

I suspect the TB groves have rounded a bit, and thus are susceptible allowing the 'c-clip' to expand when pulled (pushed by boost) on. If the edges the of the TB aren't square, sslliipp. If they are, almost any boost shouldn't matter.

That said, very ingenious!
