Default After firmware update getting code 30FE - 09-09-2019, 04:27 PM

As the title says. I up dated my jb4 for the first ever. I followed the Instructions or so I thought. Made sure menu 4 was set to 2 (got backend tune) all the duty bias was set to zero and boost In third gear set to zero. Updated without any errors or issues. Did a test drive and the first time I got on it, it started to build boost then it just fall flat. No codes popped. Did it a few more times and same results. I was in map 6. I changed it to map 2 and went full throttle. Same issues. But this time codes popped up 30fe and 3100 and car we into limp mode. Kept it in map 2 but I changed the base duty cycle from 2800 to 2400 hoping that would fix but I got the same results. I reset everything and this time I turned off the jb4. Went full throttle. No issues. What am I missing here? Do i have change any settings in my tune.

Here's my log. I got off it once when the boost fall off

Don’t see any wot in this log?

One thing to note set your fuel bias all to 0

Duty bias you can adjust to 50 across the board

Turn off traction control & lets log map 1, 3rd gear 2k to redline

Thatís crazy lol because I was going WOT or so I thought. My pedal position is at 94 (I got a little stopper on the gas pedal to stop the kick down from happening). I would think the throttle would be matching that. And if you look at my previous logs itís the same thing. Could that be my issue?

Is the stopper homemade? If yes, remove- and reflash your BEF via MHD and check disable kickdown in the options menu b4 flashing.

No I bought the stopper at Walmart. Itís just little pad you put under future. Iíve had it forever. Never ran into any issues with it before. I got my BEF from bimmerboost.

So yes, homemade, lol- not specíd specifically to stop kickdown / 100% pedal.

Did you flash the bef via mhd?
