Try e40 and log, that will dictate whether to change flash or not or if your car will even handle e40.

A few factors. Boost ? How healthy is hpfp ? I see you have a stage 2 lpfp so you should be good there. Current log to look at ?

Logs are a little short. I would like to see to redline BUT, it looks fine to handle e40 if these are on E30. I would probably flash E85 map. Your trims are fine now, a little high, but will climb higher with more ethanol. Make sure you log to check hpfp.

Trims, AFR, Boost all appear to be in check. Main issue I see here is timing and high IATs. Timing will take a dump due to high IATs. Definitely need a better FMIC and more octane can only help. Lpfp has room for E40 most likey, not too sure about hpfp until you try it and log. I wouldnt push too hard with those IATs though personally. I would address that first, and to be on the safe side, I would lower boost until you do so. Thats IMO. You could throw some logs up in support section for more feedback from others.

Default Pump gas ST TS BEF - 09-09-2019, 02:07 PM

So I have the Doc Race kit and need to flash my DME with the ST TS BEF, but all maps with TS in the title seem to be some form of e40, e85, etc maps. The only other option is the ST map that doesn't reference TS. Which map should I be flashing to my DME?

2008 335i, Doc Race Precision 6062 BB kit, VRSF FMIC, ER charge Pipe, HKS BOV, JB4 ST BEF, BMS Meth kit and OCC, 550i clutch.

I'm pretty sure you can either load MHD or BB BEF. It's depends on which one you wanna load.

Hi all, I've searched around and can't seem to find the clear answer to requirements to running pure e85.

I'm a 335is FBO with upgraded coils, stage 2+ LPFP, stock turbos, jb4 / BEF, & 3.5bar tmap. Usually running the PUMP flash, car also loves RACE flash when I put above 100 octane in.

I'd like to run full e85... Is there anything else I would need to do other than load the e85 flash? My HPFP is still stock. I've seen the throttle body injection option, but want to know if that's required to run safely, or simply helps make more power

Thanks in advance.

You will not be able to get enough E85 to run more than map 1 or map 2 on full E85. To run race map with full e85 you will need to go port injection and a second lpfp.

I appreciate the reply.

So I can run map 2 (depending on how the logs look) on full e85 if I flash the e85 BEF?

If yes, would that make more power than 93 octane on map 5?

Your stock hpfp will be the factor. It can’t keep up on full E85. You’ll need a hpfp overdrive kit to run full E85.

Are you recommending that in addition to a throttle body injection / port injection kit, or is a HPFP overdrive kit a replacement for those?

Try full e85 and log log log. You will need supplemental fueling to really get the most out of e85.

I have been running PUMP back end flash for a long time now, and is currently loaded. But this weekend I needed to do a Factory Reset on my tablet - - now MHD BEF wants to do a "long write" rather than 2min update - - okay to proceed as is with Long Write? Or anything needs to be addressed first?

Edit: in case anyone was wondering, did the long write and it was fine.....
