Default Leaning to 20:1 AFR bank 1 and 2 under WOT - 05-14-2019, 11:58 AM

Running an E30 tune.

About a third into a WOT pull (3rd gear), AFRs jump to 20 and trims jump to 50.

Everything else looks OK-ish, although HPFP could be a little higher.

FBO, fuel-it walboro 255 inline in-tank booster pump.

I do occasionally get a few codes.

2AAF Fuel pump, plausibility
2A2C Fuel mixture control 2
2C28 Lambda probe in front of catalytic converter 2, system check

Don't see how a bank 2 O2 would cause both banks to lean out...

Any ideas?

It looks like your high-pressure pump is dead, under 9 all the time

Its weird how one bank leans out long before the other, but agree with above that HPFP is way below where it should be, assuming it is being reported correctly. Not impossible there is a tuning problem though. Anything change before this started happening?

Negative. I actually pulled the whole unit and still experienced this flash-only.

Been running the same flash for ~6 years without issue.

Could be right. Looks like it might be on it's way out. Weird that only bank 2 leans out (confirmed via logging flash only with MHD).

Bank 1 only showed a lean condition with logging with JB4. Might be a safety feature or something for the in dash gauge / map 4 kick out.

Agreed. Bank 2 is the only bank leaning out. Bank one is fine when logging with MHD. No changes to the tune. Been running it since 2013 ish.


Did replace bank 1 injectors with index 12's back in late 2017 (when they were $100 bucks. WTF happened to injector prices?!?!).

Ordered 3 more to do bank 2 as well. For triple the cost.

Will re-log after replacing the injectors.
