Just got to try this today. Seems a little off.. on stand still the 2 step is still weird.. jumps around and no pops and doesn't build much boost (maybe 5ish) and while rolling for example in 3rd @3000rpm I engage the antilag and 2step the car jerks very hard (rpm goes up and down 500rpm) and it builds about 5psi again (no pops or anything just jerks very hard and car slows right down)
Not sure if I should disconnect the clutch wire I have installed per the instructions (I'm A/T)
AFRs seem to stay around idle values (14.7) and drop to 20 when I get off of it

Iíd recommend you start tracing back your wires. I had a similar issue not too long ago, it was my clutch wire on the data cable that wasnít making contact to the board. If you have a multimeter check for continuity, there arenít many cables to check.

I'm trying to get the antilag to work off the hole on a DCT E89. When you press both brake and gas it kills the RPMs. Is there some work around to this? My goal is to launch at around 2k rpms, if I do it at 4k with launch control, more prone to break something.

All the wires are good as everything works, just not like how it is on the videos..

Everything is up to date.. I'm 100% sure that everything is done properly (except if I should keep the clutch wire plugged in or not)

2007 AT

I got it to work with JB4 anti lag + WOT BOX 2 step with the modified tables from treb tune.

Hit 2 step @ 3200 the press volume down to pull timing and BOOM. Clutch wire i just used a missile switch.

335i 2 step and anti lag - YouTube

*If you do not pull timing with antilag it will just stay on 2 step and will not backfire.

Do you still have to press the down button if you're stand still? If you want 2step+antilag? Because it's not very clear in the instruction and when I just stomp on the gas I get regular 2 step and I havent try to push the button too

Hi All,

I noticed there are several different Firmware Versions floating around:

- G5-ISO_32_12_T10 - which sits on the main Firmware Updates page - N54Tech.com - International Turbo Racing Discussion - View Single Post - E Series N54 JB4

- G5_ISO_32_13_T6 and G5_ISO_32_13_T7 which sit on the JB4 anti-lag thread (page 34) - JB4 anti-lag feature details videos - Page 34 - N54Tech.com - International Turbo Racing Discussion

Can someone confirm which version and map release should be used for the latest/greatest anti-lag / 2-step updates.

I'm assuming G5_ISO_32_13_T7 and 02/07/2019 BEF Map Release?

N54 / FBO / NGK plugs gaped / Ignition Project Coils / Stage 2 LPFP / xHP flash / BMS BEF / KW V3 / HardRace Back Toe-Camber Arms / M3 control arms / K-Mac Front Camber-Caster Kit / Whiteline Sway Bars /

Yes I need to add new firmware to the primary post. I made a couple other changes for the flex fuel logic and trans temp monitoring we want a little more testing on first.

But the higher the T number the newer the firmware. 13_T7 and latest BEF maps would be what you should run.

Hi guys! I just ordered the anti-lag full kit from burger and i have the following questions:
for discussion purposes, i drive a 2011 1M Coupe (n54/manual transmission)

1. the installation instructions on the first page of this thread dated 2015, is it still coherent today (since there are so many changes and upgrades in the past 3 years) ?

2. Since my car is a manual transmission, is the anti lag full kit enough, or do i need to get the 2step full kit as well? (I do not do a lot of launching from standstill)

3. Will the anti lag kit improve my 100-200 timing?

Thanks in advance! hope to hear advice from you guys!

Hey, I tried making the changes to -36 from -25 in tunerpro. However, whenever I save it automatically saves at -10? I'm still on the older BEF but I have timing and fuel/fuel scalar adjustments on my current one

AFRs seem to stay around idle values (14.7) and drop to 20 when I get off of it
Nobody has any insight on this? Please, I'm trying to figure out why my 2 step isn't doing what its supposed to do.

instructions are pretty clear i find. hold the down button while pushing the pedal down(car doesnt need to be on) and read jb4 on your phone it should show -32 IAT. -32 IAT means the anti lag is working and the car will pull timing. Combine that with 2 step rev limiter for the pops and bangs.

My issue is only with 2step standstill. On the video Terry posted, he doesn't say that you have to push the button when you want 2step while in park. All I heard was just push the gas pedal and antilag should be integrated too. But when I did that I got regular 2 step without antilag and boost build.
So to confirm, in neutral, I have to push the gas AND press the channel down button to get 2step+antilag. If I dont i get 2 step only?

Hey Terry,

So does this mean the first value of boost target on map 6 user adjustment no longer controls rolling antilag?

I hate to add to the confusion, and YES I have read all 35!pages of this thread. Regarding 2 step and anti lag on an Auto:
Is my understanding correct?
1. Anti lag retards timing by messing with IAT.
2. Anti lag requires a kit which includes a chip and piece of harness
3. Anti lag also requires a BEF
4. Anti lag requires temp table update.
5. Anti lag is activated by pressing a button on the steering wheel
6. The boost spike for anti lag is set in the settings menu
7. The launch rpm is set —————
8. 2 step interrupts the power to the coils
9. Unlike anti lag 2 step is characterised by banging and flames
10. Manual requires a clutch switch for 2 step to work.
11. For Neutral (not launch, just show off), what is required for an Auto?
12. For anti-lag integration with 2 step on an Auto, what is required?
13. For an Auto, the second step (red line) cannot be used to interior power during shifts One needs to rely on the ECU which interiors fuel.

Sorry to be presumptuous but would someone please respond?
