Just go to the link it asks for your VIN. My theory is that it won't allow you to submit a request if the VIN isn't affected by it. Good luck and let us know!

Has anyone gotten reimbursement for 09 index injectors? I have 1 or 2 leaking at the moment, and in the past BMW replaced all 3 in bank 2 for the same reason. The 3 remaining 09 injectors need to go, wondering what my chances are for reimbursement/goodwill repair?

I replaced my injectors about a month ago and submitted a reimbursement request. I drafted an invoice with just the cost of the injectors on them and then submitted proof of payment to ECS for the injectors.

I called today to check on this and was told its been set as pending. They need:
*Proof of payment for the labor on the repair
*Proof of payment matching the repair order
*A detailed repair order matching the facility it was repaired at

I didn't specify a facility on my invoice since i did the repair myself. Would someone who's had success with this as a DIY show us exactly what they submitted?

I don't want to submit a fraudulent invoice from some repair shop i never went to. So should i just bill it to myself from myself?

Also the website says proof of payment can be considered an invoice simply stamped as PAID... It seems i could do that or just paypal myself?

My experience with this reimbursement was very simple. 1.Get all injectors replaced,2. Go to bmwrp and put in the last 6 digits of your vin,3. Click on fuel injectors and press continue,4, upload the RO,& invoice. 5. Wait 2-3 days call and see how your claim is going. If everything is kosher they will say that your check is on its way. Took 7 days to get to me and it was for parts and labor. 1500+551=2051.00. With the situation above I would call the bmwrp department and ask for specific instructions on how to get your reimbursement ASAP. Just do exactly what they tell you,& keep calling every 2-3 days to see how everything is going after you have submitted all the paperwork. Do not by any means give up. This is money that can be in your pocket soon. It all depends on you and how bad you want that reimbursement. Good Luck everyone and best wishes.

Yeah it sounds easy! One thing to note though is that I replaced the injectors myself, so i don't have a invoice from a specific shop. It sounded like a few other members on here have done the same.

I suppose i could always go to a shop and have them put in new injectors again, have that reimbursed and then sell my current (still basically new) injectors that I have. but that sounds painful :-(

This would be great, if I could find these ****ing injectors anywhere. I don't want to pay $350 a piece in case the reimbursement doesn't work out.

+1 I just tried to order off of Advanced Autos site and they were out of stock. They were the cheapest Ive found for around $140 each. I already payed 300 for one injector that i needed in a pinch. Definitely dont not paying that for the rest of them.
