I’ve run quite a long time in map 3 and the rest on map 2 and no issue with the chargepipe. Car has 35000km and JB4 was installed at 5000km.

One of the first things we did was test the chargepipe durability, hoping it would not be up to snuff, so we could make and sell you guys an upgrade. But the stock chargepipe is really good. And to remove it you have to cut off the clamps. Just stay stock it's solid.

Looks like it wont be necessary, but i did come across this on eBay and the only one i seen aftermarket until this day. Not sure if that's a bung for meth about 3-4" away from the throttle body: https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-BMW-F20...UAAOSwWxNYwPoy

I got one of the FTP ones for my B48, its similar, actually I needed it for the meth bung, as nobody makes the spacer type for B48, new charge pipe was my only option for meth with B48

FTP charge pipe are well made, they are made in Taiwan with good quality, well machined and nice light weight thin wall aluminum construction

it clips directly on the turbo but with some difficulty as it is hard to reach, probably worse in B58, you need to reuse your original rubber gasket and the C-clip form the stock pipe
