Default JB4 Message: No Device Found - 11-25-2020, 08:51 AM
I installed JB4 this past spring in my 2020 C43. It's worked great.... until now


Message with: No Devices found

Any suggestions how I can reconnect my JB4 to my bluetooth app?
I've unplugged and replugged in the ODB connect. No change.

I've inspected all connections. Unplugged and replugged.
Checked for firmware updates and this message pops up when trying to load.

On a plus: bluetooth has a strong signal.

Thats very strange. On one screen its not seeing it, but on the next its showing a strong signal, saying that its definitely seeing it.

Yes I have been in touch with support and they are trying to help me figure this out.
I received a new redeem code to update my JB4 bluetooth app. but unfortunately this is the message I get when using the Redeem Code:

Update:

BMS sent me a new main chip



It connects through OBD now, and I only have access to boost and map gauges on the JB4 software.



On further inspection the BT module was also found to be baked.

BMS has sent me a new one, and I'm waiting on its arrival... fingers crossed!!




CUDOS to the support folks at BMS!!

They have been great working patiently with me to resolve these frustrating issues!

Not a clue, the BT module was bubble wrapped and in a dry location in the engine compartment.

I'm still waiting on the shipped replacement. It's been a week in transit now.
Unfortunately they shipped via USPS .....instead of their normal, trusty and reliable method - FedEx.

BMS uses FedEx, but JB4 mobile shipped this replacement directly.

Main chip arrived pronto via FedEx. Gracias!!

JB4 Connect Kit 3.7 module was shipped directly from the supplier and is still MIA somewhere deep in the USPS bowels..... I understand it's being looked into and rectified.

Warranty replacement JB4 Connect Kit has finally arrived with a bonus: longer tether cable!!

It's installed and with a few tweaks is working as intended!
