I have a 535i with 120k miles on it that I bought in May. After driving it for a month it overheated on me and I blew a hole in the engine block. It sat for 3 months before I finally decided to do something about it and so I took the old engine out of the car. Now I'm in the process of saving enough money to buy a new engine and transmission. My question is after I purchase a new used engine what all parts ( gaskets, o-rings, etc) should I purchase so when I put the car back together I can be 100% sure the maintenance is bulletproof and have peace of mind the car won't fall apart on me again (because I don't plan on babying the car and will definitely want to go fast in it)
