Anti lag works as if 2-step was not installed.
At least it is still working like normal but im pissed that
2-step does not work. Have been using it for almost 3 years and now its gone!

Hi just had a question, can the jb4 anti-lag and 2step be used to build boost of the line for drag racing purposes. I running the jb4 set up on my single turbo 335i with manual transmission and seen a post where Terry was messaging around with the idea. Just would like to know if it ever worked and how to set it up. Thanks

Thanks for the link, that's the one I've seen already but can't find anything else on. Like has anyone tried it or been using to launch there cars.

I never got it to work. It just caused the car to bog down at 500 rpm, never built boost. Not sure if I stuffed up the physical install (chip and wire) or the firmware flash but I ended up taking out the JB4 and love my n54 with straight MHD tune.

It used to work for me before the newer firmwares. I was able to build boost off the line to launch. But now the newer twin turbo JB4 firmware doesn't activate my 2 step at all. I have since started using mhd launch control and im able to build around 2psi-3psi boost at the line.

Finally got it to work bit 4 ( enable beta antilag) in user adjustment have to be turned off. Very loud and satisfying

I will try it out as soon as I'm with my car, I REALLY hope it sorts it. I think it was off afaik though.... But will definitely check it.

I have read through this thread and the other instructions and I think I understand - but just to check, do I have this right for how to use 2STEP+AntiLag together as a sort of "launch control"?

From a standing start in Drive (or S1/M1) hold the brake, hold Vol down button, gas pedal 100% to build boost, then let go of Vol down button and release the brake to launch?

OK, got it installed and seems to work fine, either with Vol down button or brake pedal. Only issue is as soon as I let go, DTC immediately kicks in and cuts power, so maybe I need to lower boost and/or torque in 1st? Or maybe turn DTC off or to Limited mode?

What instructions did you follow and what rpm is menu 8 set at ? I’m trying to figure mine out I am an auto . All my car does is bog down

I set my menu 8 (2step rev limit) at 4,000 RPM. Mine bogs down too unless I do this - full gas just a split second before holding the vol down button - that way it will get to 4,000 rpm. Otherwise it doesn't seem to be able to rev that high (bogs down because its in gear - works fine in N).

looking to do this anti-lag for my 6AT since I drag my car. I also have port injection going in as we speak. since there has to be an rpm setting in map 8, will this interfere with the port injection settings? I have the BMS controller.

Hi, I have 2step relay + antilag chip, but 2step does not work, it only builds boost but no gunshots. N54 JB4 Rolling Anti-lag 2-step in Tunnel - YouTube in this video for another people it build boost and makes noise, but on mine only makes boost but no gun shots :/
I have n54,jb4 firmware 32/15//2
Maybe I have to enable some options? Wmi bit3 is on.
It doesnt make gunshots on standing too :/
Or maybe Im doing something wrong? Volume down, floor it and thats all? Or I need to press volume down + channel down same time?

I just installed the jb4 anti lag and 2step in my car I changed my max boost 1 to 10 like terry said, I updated the firmware on the app and I flashed my mhd backend tune on 91pump and when I go to use the anti lag and hold down the volume button and brake while stepping on the gas it just acts like there was never 2 step or anti lag. Nothing changed, do I have to do something else?

Question, i have AntiLag and 2Step and also WMI kit, can i use the antilag safely with the WMI kit installed? currently when i try and engage the 2stepa on standing in N, it hits 4k and bounces but no bangs and after about 3 or 4 seconds, it jumps in to Limp mode EML. I will try and post some logs on the support page but wondered if it was relating to the WMI install?

I just got the new chip for my JB4 and I am about to install it. I see how to install it and wire it in paralell to pin 17, etc. What I am not sure of is how to wire or use the 2 step relay? I have searched but couldn't find anything other than vague references to it. I mainly need this so my port injection will come on but I have a BEF and would like the anti-lag features as well.

If you go to the 2step relay product listing on burgermotorsports website, there is a install guide which you can download that has all the info. Hope this helps
