2012 X5. Went for this Customer Care Package in Apr 2015, and they replaced a number of things for free (low fuel pressure sensor and line, crankcase vent valve and connecting lines and vacuum pump).
The CCP covered the following from what I've read online:
Fuel injectors
Crankcase vent lines
Timing chain for stretching
Mass air flow sensors
Battery
Engine vacuum pump
Low pressure fuel sensor
Recently been having more issues and went back to the dealership for repairs in Dec 2016, and they replaced engine vent lines, fuel injectors, spark plugs (which we paid ~6k for).
Went back 2 weeks later for more engine problems. Turns out the timing chain is loose and they want another 6k.
So, my questions:
If the fuel injectors and timing chain were ok during the initial N63 CCP checkup and weren't replaced, can we still be reimbursed for them? Given that the original fuel injectors and timing chain were still in the engine and now have to be replaced.
Are engine vent lines the same as crankcase vent lines, and can we be reimbursed for them if they had to be repaired 1.5 years after the initial N63 CCP replacement?
Thanks for any and all suggestions.
