Finer mist - sounds good - what has your butt dyno and logs said about the switch in nozzles ?

Usually a lower flow rate because of that. Finer mist = less flow volume.

I would have thought that, but both are rated at 5gph.

Installed the PM7s - the BM7s still look brand new. Quick log share attached. Need to do a real pull but honestly I do not feel a difference with the butt dyno.

I'd expect trims to be a little lower under WMI flow.. Sure it's flowing properly? Do a test purge to ensure a clean spray out of the nozzles?

Ok - I’ll pull the nozzles and do a purge into a measured container, record each bank, and post the results.

Log from an on-ramp run: 96 / 52% humidity day in NTX & an E20ish fuel blend. Still looking for time to pull the nozzles and measure bank1 & bank2 output.

Really happy with the PM5’s...butt Dyno better! Just today, I added E85 @ 30% to 93...for the first time. WMI+E30 = OMG! I might consider PM6 or 7, but happy for now.

Just pulled the PM7s and swapped with PM8s - measured each bank with 5 Priming cycles. Measures @ 50ml on each bank.

Be careful of Quenching...common with too much flow. Had someone tell me to widen gap on plugs to avoid...haven’t done that yet!

Welcome to the WMI + E30 = OMG club! Im running a bit lighter E-Blend (@E20) in an attempt to drop my trim numbers. The PM8s and a E20ish blend moments ago yielded the attached log for comments. For the first time I am seeing trim numbers in the 30s vs 40s so the added Meth flow of the PM8s and slightly lower E content combo seem to be working towards that goal.

On a related question - with the Fuel Wires enabled - is the AFR goal mid 12s? Here is my ignorance showing - on a FI engine, is a richer AFR (11s) safer than mid/low 12s? What are the trade offs?
