Default X2 b48 8psi at idle m, 36psi while driving - 07-19-2019, 08:39 PM

Hey Guys,

Need some help here. Installed a jb4 on a x2 B46O**. This would be my 4th one between a n54,n55, n63 so Iím familiar with everything pretty well.

No codes but Iím reading 8.8 PSI at idle. Checked connections all ok, wiggled harness- OK. Updated 2 different b48 software from the settings page here with no fix. Not sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Updated with mini b46O** software and now I’m getting RPM signal and seems like correct boost level. WOT it will go up to about 22psi. Not sure if this is correct.

Basically running a b46O** engine on an x2 with mini flash...?

From pictures the engine is the same as in the mini. Hard to find info online :/

BMS, help

Actually you can use the latest BMW firmware but with a special setting (WMI/E85 page bit3 on) to invert the boost signal readings.

For logs though need to see the CSV!

Logs attached.

Let me know what you think Terry. Thank you. Engine is B46O btw I noted b48 previously

Just to confrim:
- BMW_B48_B58_OBDII_8_T12.hex - is the latest and i should download this?
- use BIT 3 under WMI/E85 page (bit3 - Raise "boost over stock" cap from 10psi to 20psi.)

Currently everything is unplugged and back to stock. I need to arrange an appointment to see the car again so just need all the correct info. Thank you!
