Default New JB4 w/ EWG install CELs - 03-02-2021, 12:54 PM

I just installed a JB4 with EWGs, and am getting codes p2564, 06AA, AAAA. I changed the EWG settings in the app and uploaded them, but still am getting the code. The car is not running happy, any suggestions?

Double, triple, quadruple check the wiring and pins you used. What settings did you load, and where did you get them?

Settings: PID: 20, Boost Redux: 60, FF: 50

Double checked wiring on the EWGs about to go in an pull them and see if it still throws the CELs. I'm not even sure what those CELs point to.

Also to clarify this is a new JB4 install as in just put it in.

Older systems require an updated 2580 chip to support EWG control. They are $25 on our site.

What is considered "older"? How do I tell? I bought my jb4 used, and it's been working fine so far with just fuel wires.

You can't unfortunately. So your options are to try it and if you get EWG faults buy the 2580, or just buy the 2580 anyway. It's only $25 so not really a deal breaker IMHO.
