Aftermarket Injectors and Fuel Pumps -
03-15-2011, 11:10 AM
Is there anyone using aftermarket injectors or fuel pumps on our N54's??
Seems like the people who are modded out and tuning are falling short because of fuel delivery to squeeze out that extra little bit of power.

I know that no one has mentioned anything, guess I'm just fishing to see if anyone has tried using anything from other BMW's. It was just a thought because I know other non BMW owners who have used setups from other vehicles to upgrade their own injector and fuel delivery setups.

unfortunately no fishing. as long as you have stock turbos there arent any issues.

Does anyone know if the 1M has any fueling upgrades over the rest of the N54's?

I heard they have bigger turbos, I was curious how they were gonna push more HP than our N54's being stock???

A few of us have insiders working at BMW dealers, as soon as some info hits their system, we will be checking on that..

More info on the ignition coils please. Thanks.
When I Google Airtek it shows air mattresses. I don't want those in my car.

I guess we could throw a queen size air mattress in the trunk for sleep-overs and stuff.
Anyway, I have only heard of Okada plasma coils as alternatives to the stock Bosch ones. Sure would be nice if there were affordable alternatives that stand up better.
Okadas run close to $1,000 a set, that's over 4 times the cost of regular ones. Duh!

I added those to my list of must buys. I have heard nothing but great things about them and they last longer on tuned cars than the Bosch stockers.

Bump on this super old thread. Are there any aftermarket piezo injectors for our car or direct replacement upgraded HPFP's?
Getting sick of replacing an injector every 3 months
