Hi i have some troubles when I going to make a drag specially at the start
My mod is jb4 LSD Vargas turbo upgrade and I have nitto nt 05 and many mores mod my car is BMW 135i n55 manual transmission
If someone know or help how to start or in what rpm start the Car to have a better run please help me I try some many runs and i can not find the right start

Hey man I have a 135 also. and from years of driving fwd vws I learned the key is learning throttle control now with my 135 i have dr that still spin in first but with a bit of letting off and giving and repeat im able to keep up with my friends s4 and sti on the street. Practice alone and then go to the track. the only way to know if your doing good is times or comparisons.

Get a set of Hoosier Drag Radials, we are launching our 335i MT with over 600WTQ and its hooking up great even in first. We set our 2-step to 3600 for the first few runs, we will be raising it the next time at the track. We run between 18-20 psi in the slicks and it seems to work well. I hope this helps.

What size hoosier do you run? I got me a set of 265/40/17 hoosiers. im wondering if 15" rims would fit on a 135. These cars do 1.5-1.6 60ft on a good day and I feel like there would be much more potentential if we could get more rubber then rim. Im assuming you slip the clutch a good amount.

275/40/17 Hoosier DOT Drag Radial on Kosai K1 wheels. 2 step set at 3600 we do not slip the clutch at all, just dump it, and go. I have only got 2 runs in before my clutch went bye bye(3rd run I did slip the clutch hard, and it welded to the flywheel) new one is being put in, so far with only 2 tries, really bad shift points, slow shifting, with a 1.77 60 ft = 11.6 ET. Fixing the shift points, shifting better, and a harder launch we do not see a problem getting into the low 11's. This would be an easy 10 sec car with an Auto if it would hold and you could launch it.

Wow that's really good. I have only done some street practice with track bite so that's why I had the spinning first also I don't have line lock so its difficult to get a real nice burnout to warm them up. I should be heading to the track soon. the track is sticky I believe these cars have so much potential. you guys should consider running smaller rims it may help you get those 60' to low 1.5. If im not mistaken the car your referring to is the one with the ridiculous torque numbers lol. Lets see a wheelie lol. AT is good but I know in time the mt will get those better 60' times. dumping the clutch with good tires and good drivetrain gets that explosive go. The AT trans is great but im sure bmw didn't design it to drag race and launch.

Oh so I have to start the race at 3600 rpm and the make the first ..?
For now I will going to stay with my nit to nt 05 tires and i have apex wheels
