I searched and googled but couldn't find any results about something I am experiencing.
Am I the only person getting a very slow boost build up when accelerating sometimes? I have checked codes but nothing pops up. I haven't had a chance to log when this has happened but it does happen on long highway trips.
The next time I am going to SoCal, I will have my laptop ready for logs.
I just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem. I don't believe it has ever happened pre-ISO17. (I am currently on ISO18).

Map 5 and map 3 are the only maps that will adjust themselves as a function of timing advance.

Is it just me or Hex 18 is a lot smoother than 17. I feel the shift points are much smoother after loading Hex 18 and on map 5. Great work!

no video's but I can say it's loud...a good loud.
So I ran map 2 the first day and switched to map 5 last night and seems to pull as well but would like to test once JB4 is adjusted to the car. This morning at startup my car went into limp mode ( 1/2 yellow engine) i turned the car off and restarted and the light was still on. i headed to work anyway and about a mile into the drive the light went out and everything was back to normal...maybe getting adjusted.?? hopefully it will be ok from here.

Nope. That code means you need a new low pressure fuel sensor, normally.

Ok so it not an effect of the e85 and also should i be running the 18 or 19 ISO? I didnt get the fuel sensor code until i updated my G4 board and ran 50/50 e85 on bad plugs. I just switched to a g5 board today and did new plugs.

Just to be doubly sure... to upgrade from jb4 g4 pin out to g5 it's just a straight switch of the box right? No changing wires?

Sorry, how do i know what ISO version my JB4 g5-ISO is running? Just got it a week ago, and put it in car. When i connect to the laptop, it shows firmware Ver "3/16/13//2" and interface Ver "4/11/2013' . Interface date seems like latest one.. is it? I'm new to the Jb4. My G5 board has ISO written on it so i know it's the ISO version, but does it come with ISO firmware?

Nope. May need to change around purple/green wires per G5 notes.

i remember back then i had a jb3 and when jb4 came out , about 2 years ago i sent my jb3 and harness to burgertuning to modify the harness for the jb4
and is there a way with everything installed to know if i have to change the harness?
