Terry, I have a pinout JB3. Can you do a quick connection blurb for the 11 wires since it looks like some of them are moving. Despite being a genius electrical engineer, my brain can't process the PnP instructions and convert them.
Currently:
2015 GTi w/PP, JB4
2020 Mazda CX9 Grand Touring
Gone but not forgotten:
2012 X5 50i MSport, JB Stage 2
2009 335i JB4
2006 330i

Terry,
can you please explain
"Map 0: Stock bypass. This is the only map you may use a BT cable with. "?
Can't we use a BT cable (f.e. to scan and clear the codes) on any other map?

Nope, you will need to be on map 0 to use the BT for any reason. You can scan and clear codes right on the dash though with option 1/1 via steering wheel controls.

install the dp fix on the stock harness and connect that to the JB3/4. Best way to keep the DP fix for dealer trips and inspection.

Read the last few pages on the thread..The JB4 looks very promising...As one who has the JB3 and loving it....looking forward more to the smoothness of the JB4 than the power..Being there are many testers of the JB4 out there .... i am sure the question that has been asked many times ....When will the JB4 be available??? so us JB3 users can upgrade???? Had to take my JB3 out for a dealer visit,,,and can't wait to put it back in..or better yet put in the JB4....

How does one calculate the 1/4 time with a log?

Takes a bit of math:
RPM - Speed (need to know gear) - distance per time (using time stamp)

Sure you can...formula below:
map value + (hp)(tq)/PID - boost limit*3.141592 = qtr mile time!!
