Default Ethanol and JB4 - 05-29-2019, 04:47 PM

Guys, anybody running JB4 on their EA888 gen 3 with ethanol mix? I'm planning on running a E40 mix. What setting should I change on my map 6?

It doesn't need specific settings but I would keep a eye on the AFR to make sure its behaving. Some users increase fuel open loop but at a risk of triggering rail pressure faults now and then.

We have found that up to E35 the ECU advances the timing to the maximum it can so there isnt much point going higher than this.

Heres the log

Im seeing a little spike in trims and a drop in AFR at 1800 RPM, after that it runs great. Is this normal?

Rather email the csv file over to george@burgertuning.com . Easier to work that way.
