Default Log Review - 04-29-2019, 08:25 PM

Hello
Please consider review of logs. 1st run got SES light and codes 29F2 and 29E2. Search suggested dropping Open Loop to 70, it was at 90. 2nd log felt clean, not particularly quick for map 2, but I looked down and was at 100. Additional notes: since index 12's, coils, oem spark plugs, and liqumoly 5W-40, the car feels a little clogged up. Off throttle, in gear, it seems to decelerate quicker than it used to, and it doesnt feel like its pulling as hard as it was before. idle stumbles slightly, like its trying to settle around 600 but jumps up every few seconds. Concerned about the drop in fp l. Thanks in advance. Also - big props to Dmac for the JB4 mobile app for Android, much preferred to keep a fire tablet in the car and does everything a pc would!

Hey,

Couple ?s- what fuel?

You need to update your firmware as well, looks like your a few versions behind.

-enable 6cyl logging Too while you are at it.

Once done- lets get another 1-2 logs just like you have now

93 pump, will update firmware and 6 cyl timing and run again after work today. I want to run a bef but it seems like everytime you load an mhd map on a MSD80 it will pop a mosfet. Ideally I'd like to daily with a smoother flash tune but at stock boost. Can you switch to map 4 when on the mhd e85 map? 15 psi daily is a little heavy for my lead foot.

Sounds good.

And yes you can do that- or just set your map 6 values to a nice in between

What did I do??? Uploaded latest ISO firmware, enabled 6 cyl timing for msd80 and now I cant get the car to boost. Checked my old logs and the firmware version before updating was 32/10//2

Did I need to cut the diodes? I thought I had a G5 ISO board and didnt need to do anything to update to latest firmware. sos car is undriveable

Update- missed the JB4 power connector. Oddly the jb4 was funtional after a few minutes even with the power cable disconnected.

Notes on the logs: Codes 29DC- Cylinder Injection switch-off 29F2- Hpfp/ OL set too high 29E2 Fuel Injection Rail, Pressure sensor signal

Question- Why does my FOL keep learning up? I set it to 70 and after 1 pull it went up to 90. Search on 29DC makes it seem like lpfp is going out which I want to replace before adding e85 anyway, but any chance the hpfp is going out? I was able to get a pull on map 1, but threw codes and ses on map 2. Any insights appreciated.

Based on the logs:

Your HPFP values look strong, as does your LPFP.

Timing however doesn’t look all that great. Drops & multiple corrections across multiple cyl.

Based on what I see, I think you’d be ok to add 2-3 gal of e85 & that should help with the timing drops
