Default Heavy Misfire Map 7 BEF F80 ZCP - 01-02-2019, 12:30 PM

I'm having misfire issues with map 7, car is a 18 F80 m8 FBO stock turbos. Ran map 7 completely fine before on 50/50 mix FOL set to 70. Its gotten much colder here in SoCal, noticed misfires and DT malfunction codes. Set FOL to 80, even worse. Ran less e85, a litter better but still breaking up. Log for reference.

set all duty bias to 50. manually change FOL to 60. also set ff to 60, and take off map 7 you aren't getting enough fuel to support the boost targets of map 7 because the air is much denser when its that big of a temp drop. put into map 5 with all the other changes i just recommended and let the FOL adapt up from there. you should be good.

it targets about 2lbs less of boost top end and is a ramp up to 25lbs instead of a quick jump. with the cold weather you will not be making less power.

change FOL to 70. FF to 70 and log as i explain below.

your log is way too short to really tell if everything looks good. you need to do a 3rd gear pull. put in 3rd gear start at 2500rpm start the data log, and roll into full throttle quickly till redline.

Still getting DT malfunction codes on map 5 at those value, really cold night here around 36 F. The car even misfired on map 2, I'm guessing it has to do with bad fuel, its never done this before. Here is a map 2 log I just did after changing FOL to 70 and FF adjusted itself to 118.

Ok try setting FOL to 60 and PID gain to 8. And FF back to 80
