Default Battery Flattened - 01-30-2017, 11:45 PM

Hi,

I'm fbo N55, i found my car in the garage this afternoon with an electric motor sound running and my battery is flat now.

I've noticed this motor noise before but it's gone away after unlocking and locking the car.

I think there is an issue with doing the OCC mod if you dont leave the plug connected on the removed part, mine is still plugged in tho.

Any ideas?
Sound is coming from near my turbo?
Water pump or something?

Every time I lock the car it starts up about 10 seconds later.

I had that same issue after I installed the OCC two years ago. The solution was to re-route the power source to the JB4.

I think I re-wired the JB4 power source to one of the blue wires coming out the boost solenoid plug (blue patch). Anyhow, I'm not sure of that because that happen a long time ago. I need to look at my car's DME box so I'll let you know later today.

I'm running meth as well so i guess the meth controller supply gets relocated as well?

hey Stoolz, is it a light beep? or an actual mechanical sound? like a pump or something bigger?
i think that what caused my battery to die too

It clicks a couple times then winds up like a small electric motor. Sound coming from turbo area I'm sure its the water pump.

Have OCC and heater is plugged in.

You can relocate the 12v power wire from constant to switched as a test for this. Emailed a photo of it.

Could someone send me the wiring swap to? I am planning to install an occ on my 135in55 2011. Currently my jb4 is connected to red 12v cable. I should change this and should I change the meth controller also then?

Usually leaving the heater part plugged in does the job.

Very strange, i own a E82 so I will first try the normal install. Then we will see what happens

BTW do I have to add wire to get it to the blue one? Or kan I just use the stock jb4 cables?

You need to extend it.
