I know your swamped, but I thought I'd let you know that I can't wait for the next group buy.

You should also get rid of that awful E60 exhaust.

No guarantees there'll be another, but if so likely will be no earlier than October and is 100% based on current sales volumes.

Small update

My feeling is that the RBs need a good 200-300 miles to be broken in. At low rpms they now sing much more distinctly. It's a high pitched tone that oscillates with the rpms, very cool.
Yesterday I was driving around with the passenger window open so I could listen more closely. It's a sweet sound.
At higher revs you only hear the engine, I think the pitch on the turbos become too high for humans to hear anymore.

Throttle response is much more linear and balanced. There's still the tiniest lag, then the engine feels like NA.
I was able to reach nearly 23 MPG in mixed country side driving with lots of hills and winding, scenic roads. Then once I established that gas mileage could be maintained at those levels with a light foot, I started having a bit of fun which caused mileage to drop to 15. Ouch.
It is really hard not to drive with a firm foot. You don't need to go WOT in order to get serious acceleration, because there is so much torque readily on tap.
I think I'll have to get another set for wifey's Touring. It has 85k miles and lots of wastegate rattle. No sense in swapping them out with oems, would be a wasted opportunity as the RBs are much sturdier.

So quick question Ocean,

I have the JB4 G5 ISO, CP-e DCI, ER Chargepipe, BMS in-trunk Meth Kit(not installed yet), and I have the good Dr's **'s on order.

What should I invest in next? I want to eventually get to RB's, but I want to make sure the car can handle them.

FMIC
Cobb AP so you can stack BMS on top.

For now I would just do the FMIC. You'll be surprised at how much it adds. I recommend the ER as it will nicely match your CP. It's an easy install. 2 hrs tops.

Well then Peder....when are you going to get some BBK's? Cuz we both know....you NEEDS EM!

BTW...I got some Stainless Steel Brake Lines installed today......and all I can say is HUGE DIFFERENCE.

Anybody with a tune and other mods on our car needs these Bad Boys. Not even an expensive mod and makes all the difference in the world when stopping.

I will not, repeat NOT, be held responsible for other forum members' childish and irresponsible impulse buys.
TT BMWs come equipped with more than adequate power, and there is absolutely no reason to spend hard earned salaries on additional hardware and gimmicks. I do not condone such practices.
All of you fools who do this should examine your vile addiction closely, then seek professional assistance from a licensed and accredited psychiatrist. Otherwise you will find yourself trapped in a fantasy of 600 BHP and enough torque to rip the wheels off. I am taking no part in that, these are but distortions of your own reality field, my friend.
