Based on the pictures in the original post and from what I have heard from others, the stock non M dct flywheel looks similar to the M4 flywheel if the weight was removed. Has anyone tried to remove the weight from the non M flywheel and reinstall to see if it works the same as the M4 flywheel?

You should double check on realism.com, but Iím pretty sure itís the exact same clutch pack. You should be able to hold that much torque without issue on stick clutch pack. Maybe yours is just worn out?

From what I understand the m factory has a lot more chatter. I ended up going with a used m2/3/4 flywheel from ebay. Sliiightest amount of chatter at idle that I believe would be complete gone if I raised the idle slightly via MHD but it doesn’t bother me at all. Drives like stock. In 7th gear in auto mode when the engine is cold sometimes I hear the chatter at 1500 rpm. But when warm that goes away. Not sure of the long term impacts between the two, but I think it’s safe to say there are zero impacts with the dmfw.

Most importantly, No more phantom misfires. This is on 99 octane using boostane to bump up the crappy California 91 octane, DI only, PS2: https://***********/u/houtan/acn-rev13h?log=0&data=4-16. That’s weird, datazap is blocked for some reason. Replace the ********* with datazap dot me

Have a M4 dct flywheel for sell if anyone is interested.
Asking price is $600 shipped within CONUS. Pm me.
Needed a 8 bolts, and the m4 is 6 bolts. I had to get the mfactory one.
