Default 600hp pure stage 2, supporting mods - 07-10-2018, 06:34 AM

Hi guys,
My stock turbo oil seals are now leaking quite badly (a lot of blue smoke between 1000 - 1500 rpm on a straight through exhaust) and wanting to go the hybrid route.
My N54 is my daily driver but my overall goal is for 600 reliable hp, would hybrids alone do this or would I have to upgrade my LPFP, go port injection etc.
Currently I am running JB4 with back end flash, silicone intakes, bms intakes in stock location, vrsf intercooler, forge diverter valve.

I will have to stick with hybrid twins rather than a big single due to being RHD in the UK, E85 is pretty much non existant over here too.
Thanks
Adam

You need at least stage 2 LPFP for 600 whp, probably stage 3 LPFP for headroom.
You will need supplemental fueling like PI or CPI. You might also consider a meth set up if ethanol is not available.

you are not going to make 600whp on normal 91/93 octane pump fuel. For 600who you need hight octane fuel like e85/race gas/ or meth injection. You will also need the fuel system to support the fuel. for full e85 and 600whp you will need at least a stage 2 low pressure fuel pump and port injection.

I believe in the UK our lowest rated fuel is 95 octane, with our premium fuel being around 98 octane, e85 is next to unobtainable over here.

Then meth will be needed.

Well you have 2 options if you want to make 600hp. You can do meth injection or you can run race gas like c16/q16 or leaded 110 octane race gas. You are not going to make 600hp no matter what turbo setup you have if you are limited with standard low octane pump gas. 500whp is usually the limit with a big single turbo or big hybrid twins when running standard 91/93 octane pump gas.

Generally, the highest UK fuel is 99 RON so around 95 US equivalent.

If you do a bit of internet searching, E can be bought for around 1.45 / litre as long as you buy in bulk and collect.

If you go that route be sure to check what's in there as it's not really made for cars so some can have additives which may cause damage
