You cant read codes with mhd and jb4 from the obd oort unless the jb4 is set to map 0.

Read codes through the jb4 usb cable

Hey my launch control doesn't seem to work anymore, is that a side effect of the kickdown flash option?

Yes the JB4 was in map 0, but the thing that have thinking it's that the mhd says that there was no vin number.

I'm running the BMS PUMP BEF with JB4 using MHD. I've switched to map 0 to try to get ready for obd inspection. I've driven around about a hundred miles and still have four readiness codes incomplete. Do I need to flash back to the stock BEF? Or just drive more? The two oxygen sensor readiness, and eBay and fuel system are not ready. Thanks!

Autoclear was on. Oops. All good and passed now!

On another front, I can't seem to launch the car nearly as hard as before the BEF. I can bring up the revs to 2500 or so but boost seems soft. Is this from the BEF?

Thanks,
Adam

For the 135i DCT cars, I just realized we accidentally left the torque eff divisor stock in the latest BEF maps... Email me for a change to test that should improve holding power.

Posted the updated maps to the first post. Let me know if any issues crop up with the torque scaling raised back up.

I'm DCT but what seemed to really help me from 0mph launch was playing with the menu 11 settings. Idk why but it seemed to hit boost way quicker

Yes we also made a change that effects how much you can prespool the turbo... On the latest test firmware I disabled it in 1st gear. Email me if you want to test it.

When we install the new firmware "7/14/17" do we have to do the full 35min write or will it work just doing the 4min quick flash?

also how does the prespool the turbo work?

Always quick flash, except for the first time loading.

The THR template has a less sensitive throttle mapping in it.

THR also works great with xHP Stage 3. The non THR maps, after a while my car starts surging really bad.

Just like normal, it's just faster when you have MHD already flashed to the vehicle.
