Question Methanol mixture sources - 04-24-2014, 10:27 AM

What's going on everybody?
I have a question regarding different methanol mixtures. I'm currently stationed in Germany and it's damn near impossible to order anything, unless you own a business, liquid based that comes from sates side i.e Boost Juice, M1 race fuel, etc. and my main supplier, for methanol, packed up and left. Now my only source for methanol is Xtreme Blue wind shield wiper fluid, which is only about a ~30/70 meth to water ratio. My question is, what other sources could I use to raise the methanol levels? As of now, the only thing I know that can increase the level is Heet 28201 Gas-Line Antifreeze and Water Remover, but the down fall to that is that it's a seasonal item, in which I just bought the last 3 bottles, so I wont be seeing that again no time soon. Are there any other alternatives that I could use? Just to add before anyone says anything about e85, the closes station is 45 minutes away.

doesn’t work that way...once its mix you won’t be able to separate by cooling, only distillation

HEy man,

Where are you at in Germany. A friend of mine and I run meth here but like you, it's hard to get. If I do find a place in this area that sells meth I can shoot you a PM.

I'm up in Stuttgart btw.

Autobahn.......its what's for dinner!!!

It's all good now I'm getting ready to PCS to Texas, so I will have better access to getting what I need.. Since my op I've been using ww and isopropyl alcohol. I've also found denatured alcohol, which I haven't used yet.

I live in belgium and here you can buy methanol in paint shops and do-it-yourself construction shops that sell paint as well. Also american stocks shop sell them. Really not hard to come by. Prices are 10 to 13 euro for 5l.

Have you tried any of those shops in germany?
