Do not try to load the ISO firmware. The last production versions of G4 and G5 integrated firmware is available here:

The last G4 firmware was 8/22/12 IIRC. It's linked in the first post. The G4 is now obsoleted.

Do I run into any risks with staying on G4 for right now? I am away at school and don't have the luxury to take out my JB4 and send it out

You should also get a back end flash as the RB turbos tend to run lean as they need more fuel on WOT.

Default JB+ Quick Install (N54 Stage 2) - 10-09-2013, 12:41 PM

I have a ton of questions regarding the JB+ Quick Install (N54 Stage 2). I have a 2008 135i M Sport. Is there a page with all these details for that upgrade? I can't tell from the burger tuning site if it has all the same functionality as the JB4 or what it doesn't have. I'm most interested to see what all the different setting equate to, whether they're all safe for the engine which is otherwise stock besides a CAI, whether I can change the mapping using the steering wheel controls like the JB4, etc etc.

Did you download and read the JB+ Installation Guide (http://burgertuning.com/instructions/jbplus.pdf)? The only adjustment you can make is to open it up and manually turn the adjustment dial to regulate boost between 1.75 PSI over stock to 4.75 PSI over stock. It has none of the features of the JB4. I had a JB+ for a while and for $100 used it wasn't bad, but the JB4 is light years head of the JB+ in every category -- well worth the extra $$.
