Hi all! Please let me know if anyone notices anything of concern. My main concerns are of course if anything is immediately out of place, and secondly if I’m running the correct BEF in regards to timing. All logs are done at ~10c (50F) running Canadian 93 octane gas. Mods are as follows:

• JB4 w/ pump gas BEF
• EBay 7” intercooler
• DIY DCI
• Water meth (roughly 80/20) FSB controlled

The car has 145,000KM, or 90,098 miles.

Thanks Steve! Do you think switching to a race BEF would be appropriate to realize any potential timing improvements?

I’m assuming the car will failsafe if it ends up being a bad idea, but asking never hurts.

Better logs will help determine that...do one in 3rd from 2k to redline on a safe private track.

Hi Steve. I did some more logging as best I could. Not the full run that you need but it's difficult where I live. Played around with the boost additive to learn about the effect that has on timing. I'm on pump gas and using single nozzle charge pipe injection, so I don't expect the world by any means. Mostly wondering if this looks in line with other people that you've seen.

Of note, an additive of 40 compared to 20 seems to have very little impact on my ignition average if any; my timing curves look very similar at a peak of 16 or a peak of 19. I've read as many posts as I could find relating to my set up, but I'm no professional.

I'm also on stock down pipes, and as I understand EGT's can play a role in this.

what are your thoughts?

Before anyone responds, I have better logs! one set is at a 40 additive and one at 50. I was hoping to exacerbate any issues, but all I can see is that the stock fuel pumps seem to be slightly above range with the 50 additive.

timing is ok? I notice it's not the ign avg of >2 that we should shoot for.
