ddnspider Thanks for reviewing the log
I will log a Map 2(two) Run Today if possible and re-post

For Stock RS is it safe to Run Map 3-5 or these are more design for Cars with Supported mods like Intake, Down-*****, Heat Exchange etc?

Fuel and EGW will be installed later as I bring the car to Infiniti and like to keep it simple (Connecting those its not as easy without the right small hands or tools)

Really depends on octane and mods. You can try map 3 and see what the log looks like but your current map looks good.

Will I need to do anything since I'm getting the JB4 used? I remember reading that some people needed to call in order to get the app working for them when buying used.
OK, got my unit in, installed everything. Couldn't quite get the grommet fully seated, how much of an issue is that? Hard to really get my hand in there and get any leverage pushing on it. Had the bluetooth module unlocked by app support, but it won't connect now. I can see it in my list of bluetooth devices (Galaxy S10), but from the app it says nothing is available. If I try to connect from the list of bluetooth devices it asks for a pin. Neither 0000 or 1234 have worked. Any ideas?

Many put the OBD cable through the fender and in through the door so you don't have to mess with the grommet. I was skeptical at 1st, but long term experience with that method is - I never notice the wire and it stays put with no problems. The other advantage is that removal is very quick and simple if you have to bring it into the dealer for work.

Regarding your log, looks good. I would try map 4 and then map 5 to see how the car reacts and find your limit. This will help you get the most out of the JB4 and know where to set it when you want top performance.

Hey guys, I'm running the top Map 5 (+7) and I'm getting about 16.8psi max boost. If my AFRs are ok, is it safe for me to try a map 6 with +7.5 or +8.5 numbers, what do you think?

You will need to see what your timing is doing at that high PSI (Ign1). If you see drops of 2-3+ in value or very low (below 5) during a pull you need to back off on boost target.

Hi N54 team. Can you please check these logs and let me know if they look good? I'm concerned there may be knock but am still learning how to read the logs. This is Map 1 on 91 octane. Thanks.

Can one of the experts check my log on Map 4? It looks good to me, but would love one of the more seasoned people to check it out.

How's my map 5 log look? Boost seems low to me, stock levels?

edit: I'm going to guess from comparing with my other logs that I wasn't up to temp yet? Thought I would have been there by the time I got to my logging point, but maybe not.

Don't know if I qualify as N54 team, but those logs look good to me. Timing looks good....recovers well after the shifts. Might try the next map up and see what it looks like.

Hey guys, finally after a week I had the time to do some logs with the ewg wires. I like the extra kick at the lower RPMS but car doesn't feel the same at the higher RPMs with the EWG wires compared to only running fuel wires. Before installing the ewg i only had fuel wires n had no problem running map 5 on shell vpower 93 octane. All logs looked good to Terry with just fuels wires n to be honest the car always felt amazing n ready to go. After getting my unit back for repair I also installed the ewg n now it seem to the isnt happy. If I can't figure this out ill just remove the ewg n call it a day. Here's the logs. Thanks in advance. 2016 q50 premium, hks lower doem ***** n tanabe axleback.

The logs I've looked at appear fine as noted with boost, timing, afr, fuel trims, and wgdc all as expected.

You can always set options bit5 on to disable EWG electronically for back to back testing. Note in the logs I saw above fuel control is disabled.

So I'm not pulling any timing on any of the logs? I haven't reinstalled the fuel wires just yet because I feel like the car is running weird with ewg wires. I have another map 6 log n the power just dropped off for some reason.

Redgoyabean - The log you just posted at 8:08 am does not look good. You timing Ign1 is dropping sharply. Don't know the exact rule of thumb, but when Ign value gets below 5 it is a concern. Yours right off the punch goes 8, 6, 2.5, 1.5. Then it recovers a bit at high RPM, but right back down at the shift and does not recover until your boost tapers. What fuel are you running? If you are already on 93, you will need to back down the boost targets. If 91 - find some 93 and see if the logs improve.

If it's pulling smoothly sure, the log seems clean.

Thanks Terry, it seemed very smooth and strong to me. I've got the linear pedal bit turned on and I like the added control it gives over the throttle, much easier to smoothly accelerate and feather the throttle. It almost feels like a whole new car now!

Question for the experienced folks.
Vehicle is a 2017 Q60 non rs rwd.
Lower down ***** and bms intakes.
Jb4 with fuel wires running 93 octane.

I've been doing a lot of testing on diferent maps on different gears reviewed the longs to see how far I can get with more smoothly boost, timing and afrs curves.
The question is.
Can boost by gear be setup on map 5?
I'm trying to see if I can get 13 psi in fisrt, 15 psi in 2nd and 16 in 3rd. Of course if timing and afrs look good.

Thanks in advance.
