Thanks. So, it'll be safe use this ratio, correct? what about if I mix it up with 93?

Ok im about to tackle the install. Only question i have is what are the two bare wires for? They are part of the main harness and come out beside the 2 pin connector for the obd2 connector? I cannot find any instructions on these two wires

Thats what i have gathered by reading. Just trying to find the video. I thought since it was prewired now i didnt have to tap in other wire but it seems they are just pre wired to the jb4 harness end obviously.

Hey Terry, thanks for being amazing!

Another side topic question for you. So, I noticed that my enhanced engine sound wasn't playing anymore through the speakers in the car. So, I unplugged the ODB and *POOF* it was back.

Any idea why it's off when our tune is plugged in and if you can script around it so we can have it back???

Strange, we didn't proactively disable it. We do offer that option on some vehicles but not the Stinger.

It will say in your app, under User Adjustment Settings. Mine says 21/8//5, which means version 8; the middle number is your version.

Hi Terry. I think you might've missed my previous message so I thought I'd post again (apologies for another message).

Per your instructions, I added the Lucas octane booster to 91 octane and ran couple more trials. Do you mind taking a look for me? I'd just like to figure out whether I'm having a problem (engine knocks/slight rattle or ticking) related to octane level or not, so I can take action if this is a bigger issue.

I've reattached the maps for your review. Thank you again!

Could be, Mondays are always nuts around here.

Before I even open the logs, did adding the octane booster eliminate or alter the noise in question?

Yes. Mondays are crazy I bet.

I do think the noise largely went away, and what I could've heard faintly (in the more recent trials) may have been creaking noises from the body of the car somewhere (like the hatch orthe motor mount).

As a general rule, knocking noise with no octane booster, that goes away only when octane is increased, is some sort of octane based knock. So the only fix is to dramatically retard timing and/or reduce boost.

The logs themselves look fine here, so I doubt you had an octane issue in the first place. But if it comes back on map1 next tank of gas we'll have to come up with a custom JB4 profile for you to avoid it.

Thank you. That's very helpful and I think that would be a great idea.

In the case that the noise comes back, what do you advise as the best way to customize the profile to tailor it to my 2.0L? Is there a Map 1 boost structure (in specific psi figures) I can mimic with perhaps 0.5 less psi in boost?
