Default f30 320i jb4 results - 02-11-2019, 06:35 AM

Howsit from South Africa

new to the forum, i drive a bmw f30 320i with EWG stock with the only mod being a jb4 which i installed over the weekend.
somewhat happy with the results car pulls amazing from just over 4000rpm i would have loved to have more power in the lower rev range. heres a pic of my dyno results, figures are in kw engine power.
1st column - stock map 0
2nd column - map 1
3rd column - map 2
4th column - custom map 6

let me know what you guys think?

i was expecting more power from map 1 and 2 and the diff between the 2 is very min.

thanks

Numbers look good, take JB4 logs of the runs so we can check out the tuning end?

Sorry forgot to come back to this thread. It has some timing drops here. I'm not sure I'd want to run more boost for the fuel being used. If it's running smoothly I don't think you need to turn it down either.

Hi Terry, thanks
Im not sure what you mean by timing drop, could you please explain?

Boost is great but comes in too late. In the lower rpm range its standard and only kicks in after 4000 rpm with peak boost coming in at 6500rpm and 7000rpm. Is there any way that i can get more boost in the lower rpm range and mayb bring peak boost from between 5000rpm and 6500rpm? As thats where i would prefer it?
