Default Map 2 with 91 octane? Or E85? - 11-19-2018, 01:02 AM

So I'll be getting my JB4 fairly soon as well as FMIC, ******* **, Charge pipe, CAI and TIC. Now I'm located in Colorado & have looked everywhere for 93 octane but to no avail. Now I know its recommended to run 93 octane with map 2, but would I still be able to run map 2 with all the mods & elevation difference??

I do have access to E85 but I'm not going to lie I'm a complete noob with E85, from what I know mixing it with 91 octane I can potentially increase my octane correct?? I hear its highly corrosive to my car parts so what is a safe amount to mix & so forth for engine reliability as well as performance? And will I be able to pump with E85 without adding anything else?

You can mix a couple gallons of e85 to bring the octane up, yes. Why not get a log on a lower map first with 91 so we can evaluate.
