Sweet thanks George. I ordered my connect today. So I'll give map 3 a try when I get it. What mods would be beneficial after that? I'm guessing trying to find a better intercooler?

Not sure at this point. We still seeing around 200-205whp.

Have had JB4 running in my Seat Ateca FR, 2018 for some months now. Usually in map 2, sometimes in map 3. Always use 98RON gas (Sweden). Bought the unit from: https://www.jb4shop.co.uk (don't buy it from them, they sent the wrong unit!). George helped me with firmware and how to rebuild to work with 3B engine (Thank you very much!) Have had two problems with it the first weeks, draining the battery and parking heater triggering the alarm... Both quickly fixed by George!
Customer service is amazing!
I'm very satisfied with the results...

Hey guys so I got my jb4 connect kit installed and working, however the only gauges that are giving me a reading are the map and boost gauge. What do I need to do to get my other gauges reading? Thanks

Hi,

Go to settings then user adjustment. Scroll down and you will find a parameter called Future use D. Check to see if there is 1 in the window. If not set it to 1 and save. Lock the car for a while so the JB4 can power down and it should start working on next start up. For guys reading this is a Passat specific setting and the other cars wont need it.

Unfortunately not. The modules on the VW's do not directly connect like on other models we support hence why we also don't have steering controls etc.

Ohh ok thank you. Btw been running map 3 for a couple days now about 50miles no issues. Only upgrade besides the jb4 is a k&n filter and 93oct fuel

George, any chance BMS will make a turbo inlet hose or even an intake for the Gen 3B? could eventually take the current 8V intake offered and cut it in half. My only option left is the Nuespeed TDI intake and making it fit. I just installed the CTS Turbo Inlet hose and I really noticed a difference.

Thats weird, cause they have had an intake for the Gen3B out for a while, although it dropped off their site when they launched their new website layout....

Personally I’m look at getting a *** back exhaust. Like the standard sound for day to day driving, but wouldn’t mind a bit more of a growl. Like what milltek sounds like on the golf r but no valves on the other versions. Armytrix and IPE sound pretty good with very good valve systems but also very expensive...
So found this YouTube clip of Dutch manufactured custom exchaust, not big brand, but it sounds dam good. Imagine a few raspy high pitched crackles in there...

Also mounting my JB4 tomorrow, Done my running in of the engine 600/700 miles. How long does it take for the JB4 to get to know the engine, will you feel a difference straight away and what temps does it activate at?

It takes one or to full throttle runs to adapt. JB4 is active above 169F water temperature.
