Default Exhaust Flap will not stay open - 12-06-2021, 06:46 PM

Installed the JB4 on my 2015 M3 Manual.

Did a stage 2 install with the fuel connector. Currently running Map 3 because of CA 91 Octane.

Anyways, I set up the canflap module to make the exhaust valves stay open, but it always reverts back to oem operation.

Any ideas why? I thought it was persistent.

Thanks!!!!!

Canflap module? How are you setting the can flap to stay open? Like this...

"Toggle between flap open, flap closed, and OEM operation, by pressing the button for 2 seconds and letting go. The left blinker will flash for valve open, right blinker for valve closed, and both blinkers for OEM operation. The valve setting is persistent and will remain in effect until you change it. If you hold the button too long you'll jump in to the in dash menu system below."

If that doesn't work....make sure you are running the latest firmware.
