Hi guys, need some help figuring out what's up with my boost issues. As you can see from the log, boost initially gets close to target, then drops down and then ramps back up to target. It does the same thing in all maps, even map 4 with stock boost. Have tried turning the BEF off, same thing. I don't think I have any boost leaks, car spools fast and makes great power when the boost finally reaches target. Also, the car feels like the boost is not very smooth sometimes at part throttle, you can feel the power fluctuate. I have also played with wastegate settings on map 10,11,12, no changes no matter what I do. Here's my setup:
-335i auto
-JB4 with MHD hybrid BEF
-Dynamic Autowerx stage 4 turbos (had stage 2 turbos before, boost is doing the same thing)
-New vacuum lines
-Replaced boost solenoids with OEM units
-Have vacuum canisters still installed
-Full bolt on (intercooler, turbo outlet, inlets, charge pipe with Tial BOV etc)
-water meth injection
Any idea what could be causing this? I have friends running the stage 2 turbos with OTS tunes, their logs look just fine.
Thanks for any help!

ok thanks, will try that! I was just using jb4 map 1, I guess that won't work for these bigger turbos, will need to use map 6 with the hybrid settings, correct?
ok tried the hybrid settings in map 6, seems ok now! Just trying low boost and its nice and flat now. I set everything at 12psi but it's holding steady at 10psi to redline. Just have to figure out how to get it closer to target. PID gain maybe?

The settings will work in map 1, 2 etc
Post a log in map 1 or 2

ok, so I tried setting boost at 15psi in map 6 but it over boosts in 3rd towards redline and way over boosts in 2nd gear. Here's a 2nd and 3rd gear log. I'm not sure what to change. I tried both lowering and raising duty cycle values but it didn't make much change. I used the recommended settings in the sticky for these logs.
OOPS I forgot to do this "FUD/Options bit6 (disable RPM FF gain) must be turned on". That's probably why boost is all over the place, will try another pull in map 1 to start and see how things look

Follow all hybrid settings, save.
