Default VTT N54 S2 10.94 Pass at 131.47 - 10-25-2015, 12:25 PM

You guys all know David Aka "Turbocripple" by now with his video smacking an E9X Gintani M3, and his 11.1 ET's with 131 traps on street tires. Well I sent him some real tires, and of course his FIRST run with them, lays down the law with a 10.94 at 131.47. I can say with almost 100% certainty he will improve these time throughout the day. Stay tuned for updates.

No this isn't a stripped out car previously running 11.1's, that put a $6K turbo kit on it, and picked up 2/10th's. This is a FULL WEIGHT, NORMAL stage 2 car, being controlled using hand controls, running 10's! Honestly this is THE most impressive car on the N54 landscape a the moment bar none. We are proud to say he is a VTT customer!

Well guys, the day has come. Shiv the mighty has Fallen. David AKA @turbocripple. Has slain the beast. He just ran a 10.81 at 132.23MPH. On normal VTT stage 2's. Full weight 135. #VTTFTMFW

I will get a break down as I get more info, we are posting this live as it happens! He could run faster!

Small update, David has the back seat out of the car as the only weight reduction. Last run he was full weight, so I assumed the same. David weighed the car, with him in it, 3460lbs

This car is running very strong for the boost levels. But don't loose sight of the big picture here. The success and consistency of these 10 second cars is more about the tuning hardware used than the turbos themselves...

Well lets see. Its full weight except for the back seat, its on a $2799 normal stage 2 stock frame upgrade (not a $5500 non stock frame upgrade), on the same exact 60 ft (actually slightly worse) its almost a full 3/10's faster, it just broke a long standing 3 year record set by a completely stripped out single turbo car, running Full slicks, and skinnies, the driver controls the car via HAND controls, as he is in a wheel chair, this is his first time EVER to the track with DR's on the car. Its running an OTS back end flash, and OTS PI map, he ran four runs all in the 10's, two low 10.8's. Shall I go on? MPH is an indicator of HP, that is all. So a lower powered, heavier car, being controlled by hand, just broke the platform record, and trapping 1.XMPH faster is more impressive to you. Hi hater....

I said it in the RB post, and I will say it here. Its not the turbos, its the set up, and the driver. BUT you get the other guys bellyaching for days about drag racing, and holding the record, dynos don't matter, blah, blah, blah. Well a car running our turbos, now holds not only the dyno record, but the platform 1/4 record. So yes we will post about it, as its a BIG deal to break that record. You know that as well as I do. MANY people have tried to break it for years.
