Having a issue with my car showing boost at idle which of course throws a 25C8 code....do you think its mechanical wastegate issue or eletrical issue with jb4 harness...car is a 2011 e90 n55 pure stage 2 and fbo jb4 with mhd backend flash? I have logs to confirm also, I'll post when I leave work. Thanks guys......also when I do drive and get the car to build over 5 to 6 psi sometimes boost will go back to 0 at idle, until I build boost again and sometimes it will stay at 3psi at idle again. Sorry for the long post.

I'd double check your connections at the TMAP sensor. Are you running a stock or upgraded sensor?

In settings, Under User Adjustment, what is your N20 TMAP set to?

Running a N20 tmap and it's set at 1 on jb4 app

2C58 BOOS PRESSURE CONTROL, DESACTIVATION, BOOSR PRESSURE BUILD UP BLOCKED
2C71 BOOST PRESSURE SENSOR, PRESSURE TOO HIGH
2C83 BOOST PRESSURE SENSOR, PLAUSIBILITY, PRESSURE BEFORE THROTTLE VALVE TOO HIGH

I get those codes except the 2c71 code

That's exactly what mine did when I had a faulty sensor. Bought a new one and issue magically disappeared.

I put the stock 2.5 bar tmap back and so far so good, gonna drive for a week to verify and order a new 3.5bar....thank guys much appreciated ����

Im having the same issue even after replacing with another 3.5 tmap. Could it be the tmap on the manifold side?

Doubt it, what settings do you have for the 3.5 bar. Are you using mhd or Jb4 for the calibration?
