M140i Running MS109 Race GAS -
06-21-2018, 02:16 AM
Hi all sorry if this has been covered before but i could use some help with this.
I have a BMW M140i running a JB4 which is great but i have got my hands on some VP MS109 Race Gas and fancy giving it a try.
Car is standard apart from JB4 and a BMW performance back box and Piper cross air filter.
Which map should i run the car on?
Should i mix the race gas with pump gas 50/50 mix
Please help?
My friend wants to race me in his 335d and i must not loose.
Any feedback very welcome

Map 7 will not work if you don't have meth. However, you can run Map 7 without meth if you set Meth Safety to 3, and know what you're doing.

You'ld probably still lack fuel volume. My trims are nearly maxed even on map2

Reading the map selections on another thread on here would Map 5 not be the best?

If your trims are good then yes, for now the preloaded maps that is the most aggressive. If you'd like an absolute I know people run about 17-19 psi depending on car etc on map 6.
Bullitt1841 has a few threads floating around that you can follow with great info.

Hi Bullitt, you say in your post about knowing what you are doing? Please can you give me a little more information. I don't wish to kill my car but I would like to run fast and live to tell the tale. I am asking on here because you guys know what your talking about.
Many thanks,
Stumps

You won't hurt your car if you run any of the pre-defined, non-meth maps and have enough octane. Logging is your friend. If you don't have JB4 Mobile yet, get it.
I don't suggest running Map 7 (meth map) or Map 6 (custom map) unless you are already very familiar with logging and basic tuning. Just stick to Map 1-5 until you get more experience and advice from others after we review your logs.
