Really? Lucky man lol, I've heard horror stories of people forgetting to deactivate their jb4 when flashing and frying the DME. Happened to one of my friends actually.

You'll need a custom tune. Inlets allow more airflow compared to stock, so your WGDC Adder will need to be lowered significantly compared to those without inlets.

I'm running a jb4 with the mhd backend flash, and installing my 3.5bar map sensor today. Do I need to check the box on the mhd flash and change settings in the jb4? Or do I just put 1 next to N20 TMAP in the jb4 settings and leave the mhd box unchecked?

Do NOT check the box on the flash. Just change the settings in JB4 only.

Adjustments should be done for the boost control, so in the jb4 map/settings, not the backend flash.

There are several backends depending on things like fuel, then you can modulate the jb4 boost curve by changing maps based on your needs.

If you forget to change the jb4 to map 0 and fail at flashing, then unplugging the jb4 and disconnecting a while the battery minus pole will let you establish back the connection to the DME.

So I have a modified mhd bms e85 flash I want to put in, I plan on running 21+ psi, will I need the m boost? To flash a custom flash with this. The car also has a 3.5 bar but the jb4 takes care of that correct?

I've noted that my setup will produce over 8 psi of boost prior to the engine hitting 160F. Is this a function of MHD changing targets? If so, what is the upper limit of boost at low oil temps and is there a way to lower it via the JB4? I've seen values as high as 12 psi accidentally while still below 160F. I'd like to avoid that if possible. I'm using map 7 on the JB4 and have the E85 backend flash.

I'm guessing this could be related to a menu 12 setting, I've been having a similar problem and Trebila noticed my pwm could be causing an issue. In this log it's sitting at 79 with no issues, then suddenly drops to 27 and I start boosting over target.

have you cured it by adjusting your menu 12 settings?

I am sure mine is at 2800. I assume you are working your way down to 2400? or going up?

I've just had the suggestion to work with 12, so at this point I'm set at 2800 and trying to reproduce the odd response. Just driven the car once, nothing yet.

You'd need to evaluate the JB4 target in this situation to determine why its happening.
