LOL yeah thats the one. The cleared a 85ft embankment and hit the tree 15ft in the air that caused the car to split in half then burst into flames. It was also not the drivers M5 but his dad's. ALCOHOL was involved. You can smell alcohol on a body even if it's been ripped into pieces.

Is it? This close to other cars at 180+mph? You have no idea what they are going to do and very little time to react.

1) No Alcohol was used
2) A freeway doesn't just "end" especially after we just did a prep run, we knew about debris and any other crap on the road
3) Not driving my dads super cool M5 for the night seeing what she could do. I know the limits of my own car, and have owned it for a couple years. Make no payments.
4) Im not trying to impress my buddies to show them how ultra cool I am in my dads ride.
5) And I sure as hell didn't pack it with a thousand pounds of dead weight.
Should I continue? My point. I never said passing cars at 185 wasn't perfectly safe, but my situation is damn far off from this guy.

The point is you're risking the life of everyone else on that road, not just yours. If you don't think anything is wrong with that then you have some screws loose.

Really who gives a **** what OP does with his car? I understand what people are saying things can get dicey at those speeds in a hurry. Is OP the only car guy doing this? No there is plenty of people who drive recklessly through rush hour traffic in New York where our roads are complete garbage. I agree with others I never drive fast with people in my car because I wouldn't want to be reasonable for hurting another life. That being said I was rear ended by a pickup doing 70 in The rain when I was at a dead stop! Still don't know how none of us got hurt. OP log next time!

I call those people *******s all the time, you should too. Plenty of people think that Donald Trump would be a good president. Point is, "It's ok because a lot of people do it," isn't a good reason.
Not like it matters on this forum, though, as there is a section for Kill Stories. This thread should be there.

As cool as it is too see what a 500whp n54 can do on the big end, it would be much cooler to see it a more appropriate setting... You can tell you don't quite understand or respect the car... Saying you bury the speedo on the daily proves nothing but your disrespect to not only the car and its capability's but the other drivers on the road. It's not that "cool" especially when something finally lets go from the sustained abuse. Don't get me wrong racing other cars and doing a pull here in there is a blast, but the way you talk you sound like an idiot. Hopefully your luck doesn't run out.

What if a control arm or tie rod spontaneously failed at that speed? Unlikely... But just consider it. No one can tell you how to live your life, but we'd hate to see you lose it.
Other than that, I interesting video.

Aren't you risking jail time for something like this ? You would already be in jail if this was France... I hope you used and are using security measures to obscure your identity when posting here and when you uploaded this video. What if N54tech gets a subpoena and is forced to give your IP ? What if that ip matches the one used to upload the video on Youtube ? Just my 2 cents on the subject.

I was scared when I hit 150mph in my 335i, but 200? On a public highway with little to NO room in case something happened? Nope.
****, I wouldn't trust my tires at that point. I saw the oil temp gauge crawling up and the speedo pass 160. If you were both wearing helmets and doing this legally, I wouldn't have much of an issue...but 196 sounds like a recipe for disaster let alone 200mph.

You can even see the car drifted side to side when passing by those two cars in such close proximity and such speed...
If you are going to take the car to that speed... at least upgrade the chassis components too.

Be careful OP!! i was only doing 90 in a 75 on the interstate back in 2002 and this swift semi truck tried to pass a car while i was in the fast lane. he ran me off the road, i was ejected in the roll over and in the hospital for about 3 weeks. my g/f broke her neck and i had a few broken bones and really bad head trauma.
not trying to lecture you, i know how it is to want to go fast and i have since then. but you can bet your ass i havent done it in any areas where there were other cars. remember this you can be the best driver in the world but all it takes is one guy who doesnt know to pull in front of you.
besides that your car is a ****ing rocket man. you need to do a roll event and see what you trap! have fun but be safe so we can see you on these forums again.

Why were you not wearing your seatbelt? People only get ejected when not wearing their seatbelt. Do you know how many patients I could have sent home instead of taking them off to the OR if they had just bothered to wear their seatbelt??

i was young and dumb... 18 years old living in idaho at the time. most people back then didnt wear them where i was raised. which looking back is crazy. but i got super lucky i didnt wear my seat belt that day cause the top of the car completely smashed the driver seat down. but i know that circumstance was 1 outta a million and have been wearing my seat belt ever since.

Save it for the track.
Just think if some moron like this killed someone in your family doing this. It's needless.
