I have a 2013 X5 50i. Can you help clarify a couple things. If I buy a JB4 stage 1, I can run map 1 or map 2. Map 2 gains are around 40HP and 40TQ?

Also, is there any recommendation for a flash tune to run with the jb4 to get a little more out of it? Are there OTS flash tunes I can use like I have from MHD for my n54?

I'm not looking for anything crazy or unreliable. I was hoping to get around 75HP and 75TQ out of this thing with a tune.

I installed a BMS stage 1 to JB4 upgrade with BCM 3 years ago and can't find the wiring diagram with pin connections. Can someone please post a link or email?

Thanks

Hi,

Can I use the JB4 N63TU with a N63 engine if I update it with the N63 firmware?

Depends on the vintage. Newer N63TU systems are PWG v2 and would not be N63 compatible.

Thanks for the reply.

If I buy the current JB4 for a 2013 550 (N63), can I buy the mobile wireless option or I have to use the BMS wired connection?

Just sold my 2012 650i and picked up a 2015 550i. Will I have to independently sell my fairly new JB4 and pick up another one or can it be swapped out for credit towards a new one?

Default Drivetrain malfunction at wot - 05-23-2020, 06:19 AM

Ok guys, I知 new to this, and I want to figure some things out. I have a 2012 550i, and I知 getting a drivetrain malfunction. Looked at the code and it says air mass flow too high? So I知 guessing I have to change my tmap sensors correct? But I知 also looking at the boost I知 running on map 2 and it only hit 16 max. I have Arm car less *********, Megan axle back exhaust, and diy front mount intakes. I data logged it so that you guys can see and let me know where am I going wrong.

Thank you for the quick response, I will try to get that done today, if not soon. How would I be able to push around 20 pounds of boost. That is what I’m aiming for

N63 life so you have limited options. Look in to a flash tuner to get you clsoer and use the JB4 for fine tuning, logging, boost by gear, and safety.
