Default VRSF Catted ******** Check Engine Light - 07-19-2020, 06:06 PM

Recently install VRSF catted ********. Car is running well but check engine light is on. When cleared manually through JB4 or through MHD backend flash it comes back within 50-100 miles. Is there a fix for the check engine light without a proper flash tune and will the car pass inspection? Other mods are CP and BMS Intake.

Sorry if this was already posted to another thread.

You need a rear O2 spacer. I ran this.

Default Rear O2 Spacer - 07-26-2020, 05:51 PM

Mike, Thank you for the suggestion. I decided on this spacer. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Car has been driven over 100 miles with no CEL.

Will car still fall to pass inspection with *** less d p ? or does spacer fix this issue?

Depends on the state. If they do a visual inspection, its still going to fail, because they can see the converter is gone. If its OBD2 only it should pass, because theres no code and the spacer should allow both O2s to read as READY.

So did installing the O2 spacer work?

I just recently installed a ******* DP and picked up a 90* O2 spacer elbow. I installed my O2 sensor, but I am still getting a check engine light Lambda codes regarding rich to lean: slow reaction.

Can someone advise how to fix this?

Did you clear the code after installing the spacer? If not, start there. If you already did this and the cel came back, MHD will fix you.

If you get the MHD flasher to flash the BMS BEF, there is a flash time option for OEM dp. Uncheck that and it will hide the cel.

Did you get the angled or mini? Wondering if the mini fit properly.

I picked up a kit on Ebay that included the 90* elbow spacer and mini spacer. I decided to install the 90* elbow spacer, however I am still getting check engine codes daily. I get the following codes.

12AF08 - Lambda probe after catalytic converter, the boost from rich to lean: Delayed Reaction

12A308 - Lambda probe after catalytic converter, Dynamics, from rich to lean: slow reaction.
